Walking or running on a team makes the PATH to the Cure experience that much more fun. All you need to start your team is a great team name!

During registration, you will be given the option to either create a team or join an existing one. You don’t have to know who all of your team members are when you register, as it takes just one person to register the team name. Once the team name is registered, others can register by finding the team name and choosing join an existing team option. Team names and members are listed here. REGISTRATION FOR TEAMS ENDS ON SEPTEMBER 24TH, 2015 AT 7 AM. THEREAFTER, YOU WILL BE REGISTERED AS AN INDIVIDUAL.

Tailgating

Registered teams of 15+ members can be added to the queue to reserve a team tailgate spot. On the Contact Us page, choose the “Tailgating” option on the dropdown menu and fill out the form. You can learn more about tailgating by going to Tailgating FAQs. The team tailgating reservation deadline is Sept 19, 2015 @ 10 am.

Contests

We also encourage you to enter the contests for Best Team T-shirt/Name and get as many people to register on your team to win Largest Individual Team.

Fundraising

We encourage teams to create a team fundraising page on FirstGiving. However, teams are not required to fundraise to participate in PATH to the Cure. One hundred percent (100%) of the money you raise goes directly to helping others and promoting a healthier future for people living in the Huntington Tri-State area. Packet Pickup

Saturday, September 26, 2015 4-7 PM Big Sandy Superstore Arena Lobby Early packet pickup is for all P2C event participants. Team members may pick up their race packets and event registration bibs at the Packet Pick-up Expo. Team captains may also pick up packets and bibs for their team if they choose. We HIGHLY encourage people to pick up their packets/bibs the evening before the race. It will save a lot of time on event day. We encourage teams to sign up for Team packet pick up on Sat. Sept. 26th. This feature allows one member of the team to pick up all the bibs and t-shirts for the team. The team must sign up so the teams’ bibs and shirts can be pre-pulled and waiting for 1 team member to pick up.
